My career passion has always been to create cool things and do good work. I love making an impact and that fuels me through the stages of the design process.

I'm based in Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina. I've been doing UX full-time for 10+ years. I'm a former developer who fell in love with UX.

OUT-PERFORMING AN AGENCY

As an in-house designer, I once out-designed a large UX agency and saved our company over $500K in future design fees (3 designers + 1 lead + 1 manager).

The agency’s first round of mockups were subpar, yet they presented them as examples of strong UX. I produced better designs to show our team that we needed to raise the bar on our expectations for the user experience.

Shortly after, I became the design lead and took over the project, while the agency was informed that they were no longer needed.
